Upgrades that Keep You Safe
Every year, we improve our infrastructure to maintain safe, reliable natural gas service in communities across Alberta.

Upgrades to Improve Safety & Reliability
As part of our ongoing System Betterment Program, Apex Utilities replaces aging infrastructure—such as vintage plastic materials like PVC, non-certified polyethylene, and steel pipelines—to support the long-term safety and reliability of our natural gas system.
This multi-year initiative ensures that our communities continue to receive the dependable energy they count on.

About
Public Safety Comes First
Construction sites can pose hazards to the public. We take every precaution like using barricades, fencing, and signage to protect residents and workers.
For your safety, please do not enter construction areas.

Keeping You Informed
Before any work begins, we send notices to impacted customers with timelines and contact information. We also share project updates through local newspapers and on our social media channels to keep communities well informed.
Thank you for a Successful Construction Season
As our 2025 construction season wraps up, we want to say thank you to everyone who made it a success — our customers, contractors, and employees. Your collaboration, commitment, and support helped us deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality projects in the Towns of High Level and Hanna, and Sturgeon County.
