Mike Stock is the Vice President of Financial Services & Regulatory Affairs, overseeing all financial services and regulatory operations for Apex Utilities. Prior to this role, Mike has also overseen the organization’s accounting and customer relations operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, budget and planning, tax, gas settlement, billing, and the Customer Care Centre. Since joining Apex in 2005, Mike has served in increasingly senior financial leadership roles and has appeared before the Alberta Utilities Commission as a company witness or representative for a number of major regulatory proceedings and Government of Alberta initiatives.
Mike is a member of the Canadian Gas Association Standing Committee on Policy & Regulation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta.
